Soo In

Soo-in Yang is an architect and public artist based in Seoul. His works range from architecture, and participatory art to marketing campaigns in content, and buildings to palm-sized devices in medium and scale. With the belief that the mixture of media can devise a more effective and inspiring solution to a particular problem, Yang aims to create ‘things’ with stories that can touch ‘life’ in a positive way.

Yang earned Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea, and Master of Architecture from Columbia University, where he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Founding Co-Director of the Living Architecture Lab. Since moving back to Seoul, Korea in 2011, he directs Lifethings/삶것, a multi-disciplinary design office.
